Robert Anderson and Aly Lovett advance to principal; Richard Liu named vice president
San Francisco, CA and New York, NY – March 9, 2016 — FTV Capital, a sector-focused growth equity investment firm, today announced Kyle Griswold has been promoted to partner. The firm also announced the promotions of Robert Anderson and Aly Lovett to principal and Richard Liu to vice president.
Kyle Griswold joined FTV Capital in 2007 after working as an investment banking associate at Berkshire Capital Securities. Mr. Griswold, based in FTV’s New York office, has been actively involved in many successful FTV investments in the financial services and payments/transaction processing sectors. He is currently a board member at Apex Fund Services, a global fund administrator, Aspire Financial Services, a retirement plan solutions provider, True Potential, an investment and wealth management platform, and World First, a foreign exchange solutions platform. He is a board observer at Swan Global Investments, an asset management firm, and also actively involved with CardConnect, a payment processing services company. Mr. Griswold helped successfully exit Fleet One (acquired by Wright Express in 2012), IndexIQ (acquired by NYLife Investment Management in 2015) and VelocityShares (acquired by Janus Capital in 2014). Mr. Griswold received a BA in economics and mathematics from Trinity College and is a CFA® charterholder.

Prior to joining FTV in 2010, Robert Anderson was an investment banking associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Located in FTV’s San Francisco office, Mr. Anderson focuses on investments in financial services and payments/transaction processing. He is currently a board member at Catalyst Repository Systems, an eDiscovery solutions firm, and StoneEagle Services, a B2B payments platform. Mr. Anderson is a board observer at Clearent, an end-to-end payment processing provider, and InvestCloud, a cloud-based technology provider for financial services firms. He is actively involved with Credorax, a global ecommerce payments platform, and WePay, payments solutions for marketplaces and online platforms. Mr. Anderson received an AB degree in economics and a certificate in finance from Princeton University.
Aly Lovett joined FTV in 2012 after working as an associate at TA Associates. Prior to TA, Ms. Lovett was an investment banking analyst at Centerview Partners. She started her career on a fixed income trading desk at UBS. Ms. Lovett is based in New York and focuses on enterprise technology and services investments. She is currently a board observer at Centro, a digital advertising and media management firm, and is actively involved with LiveIntent, an email advertising and marketing platform. She helped successfully exit MarketShare, a marketing analytics firm (acquired by Neustar in 2015) and Globant, an IT development and services provider, which went public in July 2014. Ms. Lovett received a BA in economics from Yale University.
Based in New York, Richard Liu joined FTV in 2014 from TCV where he was a senior associate. Prior to TCV, Mr. Liu was an investment banking analyst for Stifel and Thomas Weisel Partners. He is focused on enterprise technology and services investments, where he helps diligence and lead investment opportunities. Mr. Liu received a BS in finance from Boston College.
