ReliaQuest has brought its cybersecurity expertise to elementary and middle schools, and now is landing a trifecta with its expansion to high school students.
The Tampa-based cybersecurity giant announced the expansion of its commitment with 3DE, which it began working with alongside Junior Achievement in August 2019. The latest partnership will now allow high school students to work specifically on cybersecurity-focused curriculum, which officials expect to boost the growing talent shortage in the area.
“We think about the talent shortage in cybersecurity as a skills transfer issue,” ReliaQuest CEO Brian Murphy said in a statement. “There are enough people ready to raise their hand and help with this issue [but] we need to better equip them with the right skills.”
