Mike has been a growth equity investor at FTV Capital for over seven years and currently has investment responsibilities in financial technology and services. Prior to joining FTV, Mike was a principal with Flexpoint Ford and with Pine Brook Road Partners, where he focused on sourcing, evaluating, executing and managing investments across the financial services industry. Mike began his professional career in Credit Suisse’s financial institutions group.

Interests
Mike serves as a board member of MOUSE, a nonprofit which works to bring computer science and other STEM education to under-represented youths. Additionally, Mike enjoys running, biking, swimming, reading, a good glass of wine, and any-and-all things University of Michigan.
What excites you the most about being a growth equity investor?
Working collaboratively with founders and management teams to find creative solutions to their complex problems is a privilege. Their intelligence, creativity, and tenacity pushes me to raise the bar on my approach to collaboration. So, what’s most exciting for me is to not just to be investing in great platforms, but being a trusted partner and helping the team navigate through some of the most complex inflection points in a company’s development.
