Alex is a growth equity investor at FTV Capital focused on vertical software with nearly 15 years of private equity, growth equity and investment banking experience. Prior to joining FTV, Alex spent close to 11 years investing in B2B technology and services companies at PSG Equity as a director on their European middle-market software team and at BC Partners as a managing director on their European TMT team. He began his career as a strategy consultant at Oliver Wyman and an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley.

Alex enjoys cycling, running, lifting, snowboarding, sailing, freediving and almost any other activity that gets him outside. In the summer, he enjoys spending time in the Greek islands visiting family and unwinding from life in London.

The high velocity of young and high-growth businesses that are transforming their verticals. No two days are the same, and there is always a new opportunity to meet with an exciting company, deepen our understanding of industry dynamics and business models, and hopefully uncover a great investment for FTV.
